Important Information Regarding Unknown Devices in Device Manager

If you encounter unknown devices in Device Manager when attempting to recover the operating system from Microsoft Windows 8 or 10 to Windows 7 or from Windows 7 to Windows 8 or 10, the following actions are recommended:
1. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.
2. When using Windows 7, the Unknown Devices in Device Manager can be found under "System devices" or "Other devices."
3. To resolve the issue, ensure that the Intel Management Engine Drivers for Windows 10 and 11 are installed. These drivers can be obtained from the Intel website or from Windows Update.
Once the drivers have been installed, the unknown devices should be recognized and the operating system recovery process can be completed without issue.
