Infamous Canadian Serial Killer, Robert Pickton, Dies at 74
Convicted of Murdering Six Women
Attacked and Killed Inmate
Robert Pickton, one of Canada's most notorious serial killers whose crimes brought attention to missing and murdered Indigenous women, has died in hospital following an attack by another inmate at Port-Cartier Institution in Quebec on May 19.
The 74-year-old had been serving a life sentence for the murders of six women, with the potential of parole after 25 years. However, parole was denied in 2022 due to concerns that he remained a high risk to reoffend.
