Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for "Captain America: New World Order," the upcoming fourth installment in the Captain America film franchise. The film stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, who officially takes up the mantle of Captain America after the events of "Avengers: Endgame."
The trailer, which premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con, offers a glimpse of Sam's journey as he adjusts to his new role and grapples with the challenges of being a symbol of hope and justice in a changing world. The trailer also features appearances from other characters, including Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), and the enigmatic Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
"Captain America: New World Order" is directed by Julius Onah and written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
