Padres fans will soon have a new voice to listen to during Padres games, as Tony Gwynn Jr. is set to join the team's broadcast team. The former outfielder and current broadcaster will be an analyst for FOX Sports San Diego's pregame and postgame shows, as well as contribute to the team's radio broadcasts.

Gwynn Jr. is the son of Padres Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn, and he played 12 seasons in the Major Leagues with the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, and Los Angeles Dodgers. He was a two-time All-Star and won a Gold Glove Award in 2007.

Since retiring from playing, Gwynn Jr. has worked as a broadcaster for ESPN, Fox Sports, and most recently, the San Diego Padres. He is known for his insightful analysis and his passion for the game of baseball.
