The Home Depot Foundation Invests $9 Million to Provide Housing for Veterans Battling Homelessness

A Commitment to the Men and Women Who Served Our Country

The Home Depot Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Home Depot, has announced a $9 million investment to provide housing for more than 3,400 veterans battling homelessness across the country. This investment will support the construction and renovation of new housing units, as well as provide supportive services to help veterans transition into stable housing.

According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, more than 37,000 veterans are homeless on any given night. The Home Depot Foundation is committed to helping to address this issue by providing funding and resources to organizations that are working to provide housing and support to veterans in need.

The $9 million investment will be used to support a variety of housing programs, including the construction of new housing units, the renovation of existing housing units, and the provision of supportive services to help veterans transition into stable housing. The Home Depot Foundation will also partner with local organizations to provide job training and employment opportunities for veterans.
